Alyssa Marie Andrew was born and raised in the little town of Emmaus, Pennsylvania. From a very young age she learned to appreciate art. You could describe her as a simple girl with simple pleasures; while growing up she dabbled into all forms of art from coloring to painting, dance and finally photography. Alyssa's favorite subject in elementary school was art. Her love for photography initially sparked within her high school art class. Rather than working on the current project assigned to her, her teacher allowed her to explore the darkroom, encouraging her to bring in negatives,and enlarge pictures. Proceeding high school, Alyssa attended East Stroudsburg University and received a B.S. in Hotel Management. Following graduation, it was then that Alyssa received the present she had asked for, her first professional digital camera. Keep in mind Alyssa was raised in a family that was not always supportive of her pursuing photography; a subject they did not consider a career but rather a hobby. Her persistence, passion, and will has taught a lot of people there's a natural talent born inside of her and it breathes throughout her photographs. In every photo there's always a persons story to be told and a lifestyle to be captured.    Within the recent years Alyssa has matured into an excellent on location photographer. She is a great observer of people and from her observations can create beautiful portraits and photo journalistic captures that will last a lifetime from the convenience of your own home. Alyssa firmly believes there is nothing more priceless than the exact moment captured within a photograph. There is nothing more valuable to her than the photographs she has collected and taken over the past 25 years of her life and the stories that are told within them.
